2-16-2006 The Department of Homeland Security awarded the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company with an Assistance to Firefighters Grant. The $106,966 grant will be used for rescue tools and training. The rescue tools portion of the grant will replace the Hydraulic Rescue Tool system on Rescue Squad 414. The training portion of the grant will be used for Urban Search and Rescue, Automobile Extrication, and EMS Training.
1-30-2007 The Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company has signed a contract with Seagrave Fire Apparatus for a replacement pumper for Engine 412. Delivery is expected around the end of this year. More details will follow.
