RESCUE SQUAD 414 “TOP CAT”
Rescue Squad 414 was purchased in 1992 for a price of $274,000. It replaced our 1979 Ford squad. Although the Peterbilt 357 cab looks expensive it was a cost effective alternative to a full custom fire department cab. The 21’ all aluminum body was designed to carry all the equipment needed to meet Baltimore County and Carrol County specifications. The body was manufactured by the Swab Wagon Company in Elizabethville PA. Our squad district covers the area from Owings Mills to Arcadia and Butler to Westminster. The all aluminum cab and body will allow us to operate this squad for a true 20 years. Here are some of our squad’s features:
