Engine Company 412 was purchased in 1988 for a price of $164,000. It replaced one of the 1980 Ford twins. We took delivery of this engine at our 75th anniversary banguet. This engine was the first peice of apparatus that was officially named. The company named it “TOP GUN”. This engine was our first response engine for 10 years until we purchased our Seagrave. The cab and body are made of alluminum. This will make this engine last a true 20 years. The cab was made by Pemfab in Rancocas NJ. The body was made by Grumman in Roanoke VA.
