The Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company operated this rescue Squad from 1974 to 1979. This was our first rescue squad. It was purchased from the Laurel Rescue Squad in Prince Georges County MD. It was purchased for $24,000. This rescue squad had a 1965 Chevrolet cab. The body was made by the Herman Born Body Company in Baltimore MD. The body was made in 1957 and had been on two other chassis. The rear section of the crew cab had been extended when the body was remounted in 1961.
