Tuesday October 28, 2008 Around 1 PM. we were alerted for a dwelling fire on Old Hanover Road and Hanover Pike. First arriving Engine 412 arrived and found smoke showing. The crew from Engine 412 advanced a CAFS handline to the basement. Next arriving Engine 56 advanced the second CAFS line into the first floor while Truck 313 was ventilating the dwelling. The fire was quickly knocked using 164 gallons of Compressed Air Foam.
Attack Method: 2 - 1.75” Attack Lines with 15/16” Smooth-Bore Nozzles ( .3% Compressed Air Foam ) Total Water Used: 560 Gallons Total Foam Concentrate Used: 1 Gallon
